With a thousand stars and moons I couldn’t make you.

And yet you make me so easily.

Pity the fool who lost the tool cuz a wise man once said to use it heavily.

He’s been holding back steadily at the ready cuz knowledge ain’t a power it’s a duty and I’ve been awol far too long.

Thought it was my strength but it just been the booty.

Been getting it so damn wrong.

Needed to rehearse to break the curse.

But now I’m fat and my voice is terse.

The course had almost run me but now I’m in charge.

Now to charge the lineup and break off as a glacier or a dandelion no lying I’ll be flying sometime in space.

Odd future space jam jazz league of legends nah mean.

Peace and love and blue and green.

Catch it as it comes but mists a fog and fogs a daze and dazes turn to days turn to months turn to all these good lives wasted withered on the vine.

But damn vine was still funny tho.

SO I don’t really know if there’s a problem or its just me but people ain’t free and it ain’t easy to live so

People ain’t free but you and me. People ain’t free but they wanna be. People ain’t free but you and me. People ain’t free and I need you. People ain’t free but then they die. People ain’t free but you and I. People ain’t free but maybe someday. Someday maybe

People ain’t free but you and I. People ain’t free but maybe someday. Someday maybe

Someday maybe we can get together for a drink or two or something.

Going off the deep end. Flowing much harder since the weekend. Weakened by the lard years we tarded in denialage. Surprised by the mileage from guilty truth to goal line. Rised and shined, brined in white wash meant for all the fence boards. Burnt fence in the sun now tear it down board by board.

Fenced in people building fences Fancy shoes and satin dresses Cash a paycheck by a Lexus Marry young and move to Texas

Build a home and grow some kids Maybe dear lay off the sids Remember when we’d dance to Griz? It’s not stealing if I’m his

Happiness and peace of mind Robbed of blessings years behind Choices are as pyramids Enshrined in gold, entombed “I dids”

Out of anger into rage Freedom bursts a bird in cage Would you spare a cent or some This violence is cruel and dumb

People one and other see Everyone is plain like me Each and every other place Same old smile, on who’s face?

Fenced in people. Fenced in people fenced in by people for people building fences to fence in people.

Fenced in people want to be free. Fenced in people building fences. Fenced in people want to be free. Fenced in people building fences.
